Green Room - Week 0 - Day 8

Going into the city to join the protests for a few days.

I'll be crashing on the couch of my oldest friend, who I don't get to see all that often. Lord knows I wish it were under better circumstances, but it'll be good to spend time with them. Also get to know their partner better, as we've only met once before.

Before/after that? Just working and reading Idol, I think.

I hope everyone here is doing okay.

I spent this weekend binging the first six episodes of Westworld.
I also picked up the laundry and bought a bunch of tuna (alabcore only in water) for a $1 a can (usually $2.49 to $3 these days in NYC).

I need more attention. I crave attention. I seek attention!

I also need a clone to be able to read faster.

I second 'who are the munchicans?' I took the bike for a spin and spanned 250 miles approximately across high desert roads. It was a lovely day. Spent the rest of the day downloading the Action Cam images and learning about the GSP feature to backtrack my steps and create a simple record of the route I took. I may be uploading that soon.

If I don't get off of jury duty this week, I have failed.

I need to rake the backyard. I'm not looking forward to it. Why can't leaves just stay where they're supposed to all year round?

I had a pretty good weekend, despite the Steelers losing yet again.

Today wasn't that great though. I spent a few hours at the vet with my cat. Looks like she has a UTI. My poor pretty girl was so uncomfortable. Hopefully the antibiotics help.

When the vet brought her back after getting a urine sample, she was so mad at me. She sat with her back to me, staring at the wall. Pretty sure she was giving me the "cold shoulder."

Weekend went pretty well for me. I got to hang out with some very happy babies and some not-so-happy toddlers. The happy babies made up for the not-so-happy toddlers.

Happy babies are kind of awesome.

This week I'm working. That's about it. Maybe I'll throw in some grocery shopping so my dinner on Wednesday doesn't consist of me dipping pretzels into cream cheese again. ;)
