Thank you, Gary. I love Idol!! I was so incredibly excited when you organized this mini season. And what a blast it was right out of the gate! Old friends new friends fantastic writing! But then….the Park Fire destroyed my beloved village. I was in shock and grieving and you, YOU reached out and reminded me that Idol is a village, too! I have loved playing this crazy writing game in the weeks after the fire.

Now my community needs me. I need to bear witness, I need to listen, I need to write the stories of my friends and neighbors. It’s simultaneously exhilarating and exhausting.

I will be here with bells on when you return with the next season!!! I will strive to be here for the rest of this season.
