ETAA: Also, to answer the question, I am totally "cake in the rain" material today. Personal drama, LJ drama, and I'm going to edit every post I make about FIVE times because I CAN, because in 12 days I lose my paid account and can't edit anymore. BAH!! :p

ETAAA: Clearly someone doesn't want me to edit my comments again and again- I won't speculate on who already gets more email than they know what to do with and doesn't want additional comment notifications because I'm being silly and punchy. Thank you very, very much Anonymous. I will totally pay it forward as soon as my dh gets himself employed...!

I wish I could say I over-indulged yesterday, but other than yard work and some Domino's pizza, I can't.

I sure feel like I did, though, so color me "off."

I am still off this morning. All weekend I stepped away from the computer because somehow, I injured my right shoulder on Thursday night. Apparently, I aggravated it by doing my normal transcription work on Friday, and on Saturday I was in so much pain I could barely move.

It's considerably better this morning, but I'm scared that I'm going to make it worse just by doing my normal routine. I've dictated my entry and am going to transcribe it later but other than that and doing my regular transcription work, I probably won't be on the computer a whole lot.

This is rough.

Feeling a bit off this morning, but that's nothing new for me, once we enter this whole daylight savings time.

I am hoping that exercising puts me back on

Just got back home from Vegas about half an hour ago. Left Vegas on the 11:50 pm red-eye, didn't sleep at all.

Needless to say, I'm exhaustipated!!

Blargh! (That would be "OFF" for me too)

So...because I am a crazy person, I stayed up Saturday night until 8 in the morning SUNDAY. I was leaving the Waffle House around 7 and the sun was rising. Karaoke was great, my vodka and cranberries were lovely...the six cigarettes I smoked (and I haven't smoked in 8 years) were not so smart. My voice is now gone.

I got two hours sleep Sunday morning, continued on with my day...slept from 7:30-11:30 last night and then was up until 3 a.m. again

Did I mention...I AM A CRAZY PERSON - with a wish for pnuemonia or something.

Now I am at work. That should speak for itself.
Maybe I can sneak a nap on my lunch break?
Bedtime tonight can not come fast enough.

(Oh and...Happy Monday y'all!)

That's so strange that phrase keeps following me around. A while back I had a "contest" for story subjects and someone suggested "a cake left in the rain" to me. I wrote a story, and later morphed it into one of my LJ Idol entries. And now here you are using it again.

Due to my personal life, everything is totally off.

Today is my fourth day managing things while my boss is on vacation. Usually we divide the work when he's here. Needless to say, I have to appear to be "on" even when I'm quite off.

I've consumed enough coffee to give myself new nervous twitches.

so gary, how close are we to knowing who is the spirit of idol winner?

I was just asked in for 3 art modeling jobs at the University. 3 hours each, decent pay, but nude.

Bah.

I've done it before, but I'm still getting the pre-modeling jitters.

I bet it is nerve-wracking, but brotha, I wish someone would pay me to look at me nude!!!!!

Family crisis = cake in the rain.

Good morning! It was a dog-eat-dog weekend as we celebrated my little girl's 5th birthday with a 101 Dalmations at the river.

I kept in touch with what was going on though here, as my niece Kris texted me. Some major surprises in the eliminations.

It'll be fun to find out who the Spirit of LJ Idol is! I have my own auguries about it...

Um....Gary posted "Day 3" in the GR subject line...

isn't it a new week and it's day one??..I mean it's Monday..???

Ah...Daylight Savings Time...the worse for those that enjoy sleeping...

"topic weeks" don't always fit into "calendar weeks". We've had a "topic week" go on for two calendar weeks before!

Hi all. Our phones weren't working all morning which meant that the internet was down too. So it was a quiet morning at work. Several people called in sick so it was very very quiet. It's gloomy and sleeting out there in the world so I am not happy. Do I feel off? Maybe a little.

People not showing up to work today wouldn't be surprising...the Daylight savings thing tends to throw people into loops...
