There are a lot of great introductions out there, and I haven't come close to reading them all yet. A quick suggestion for people however, if your LJ has a Captcha (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA) requirement in order for people to post replies, I'd disable it. At least, if you are interested in replies.
