Sometimes it's a knockout slugfest. And sometimes things just happen.

In this case,

daisysparrow was not able to get anything in for this round and has been eliminated.

Which really sucks. When I saw that the time was running out, I was kind of hoping she'd take a bye so that both of them could survive. Or even better, submit something awesome so that they could go toe to toe!

I'm really sorry to be losing her, especially like this. But I certainly hope that she'll come back for Second Chance (and the Home Game in the meantime)

Go you! I see you already wrote the main competition entry as well, and I am very impressed. I decided to sit this round out with a bye, and I was not even in the second tie!

Ha! It just so happened I had two convos with Mems that inspired me this week. And I'm basically using my entries as catharsis.

Sorry. I did think about taking a bye (and I kind of thought not submitting if you have a bye left was an automatic bye?)

But then I would almost certainly bye out for tonight's deadline anyway, so it doesn't make a lot of difference. I hadn't felt ready to leave the competition but I also don't have four
good entries in a week within me, so it is what it is. And this was the second time I'd been in a write-off, and then the second one for this week. Which means I'm not pulling in a lot of votes and would therefore likely be eliminated soon anyway. (Any concrit on that front will be appreciated, please an thank you.)

But now that I have been eliminated and still have one bye left, am I allowed to pass it on to someone else please?

That's never been the case with a Write Off, but let me think about this for the future.

Fair enough, and it's only fair to stick with precedent in these things. Like I said, I'd be bye-ing out today anyway (not sure if the deadline has actually passed yet or not). So it really doesn't make any difference either way.
